The Marysville Community Coalition is a community partnership of caring, involved members committed and empowered to promote safety, diversity and awareness and respond to the needs of our youth, so that everyone who lives in Marysville will take responsibility for working together towards a safe and healthy community,

Among many other issues, MCC has partnered with the Game Smart Campaign to call attention to the growing problem of mature-rated video games containing graphic violence and inappropriate sexual content.
The Coalition host an annual Marysville 411 Community Connections Resource Fair that offers a one-day, one-stop source for social and emergency services information for families and individuals. Topics range from free parenting advice to health and youth programs. The Fair features keynote motivational speakers and community leaders, music and dance demonstration and draws dozens of community assistance organizations. The Fair is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Allen Creek Elementary School, 6505 60th Drive NE, in conjunction with Marysville Healthy Communities Challenge Day and the Get Movin’ summer youth recreation program. The day combines the best of youth and family health and fitness in an all-encompassing, more holistic way.
The Marysville Community Coalition also sponsors the Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival in May, celebrating Hispanic culture and community diversity at Totem Middle School. This is a free celebration with food, activities for families, pinatas, prizes, entertainment and talent show from our diverse community. All races and ethnicities are invited. We need volunteers and donations every year.
